SECTION 1: DETAILING STUDIO / INSTALLATION ENVIRONMENT TERMS
1.1 Installation Conditions
- Installation must be carried out in a dust-free and controlled clean environment.
- Recommended temperature: 25°C ± 5°C
1.2 Surface Preparation Requirements
- Surface must be thoroughly cleaned before installation.
- Cleaning solution:
80% RO/Distilled Water + 20% IPA
- Use lint-free microfiber cloth only.
1.3 Surface Eligibility
PPF must be applied only on OEM painted surfaces.
PPF should NOT be applied on:
- Ceramic-coated surfaces
- Teflon / wax-coated surfaces
- Repainted or oxidized paint
- Special coated finishes where adhesion is not suitable
1.4 Product Handling & Storage
- Shelf life must be monitored from manufacturing to installation.
- Improper storage conditions may affect performance and warranty.

SECTION 2: APPLICATOR PRECAUTIONS & INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
2.1 Installation Process Requirements
- Installation should be carried out with proper tools and trained handling.
- Minimum 2 persons recommended for proper installation.
- Application Method - Apply only on a wet surface.
2.2 Application Techniques
- Heat gun must be used during edge locking.
- Steamer should be used during stretching process.
- Stretching should be limited to 5% to 10% only.
2.3 Pressure Guidelines
- Recommended application pressure: approximately 1 Kg while squeezing.
- Excess pressure may cause line marks.
- Low pressure may result in improper adhesive bonding.
2.4 Time Requirements
- Surface preparation: 4–6 hours
- Installation: 6–8 hours
- Initial observation period: 48–72 hours

- Water immersion 40°C / 24 Hrs

SECTION 3: CUSTOMER REGISTRATION, WARRANTY & POST-MAINTENANCE TERMS
3.1 Warranty Coverage
Warranty is applicable only for:
- Cracking
- Yellowing (coverage differs based on PPF variant and vehicle color)
Anti-yellowing warranty for white cars:
- PLATINUM Z+ (Lifetime): 6 Years
- PLATINUM PRO (8 Years): 5 Years
- PLATINUM MATTE (7 Years): 4 Years
- PLATINUM PLUS (5 Years): 2 Years
- PLATINUM SHIELD (3 Years): Only cracking warranty covered
- Warranty coverage includes replacement of defective product only.
- Labour, installation, or removal charges are not covered.
3.2 Warranty Validity
- Warranty starts from the invoice date of PPF installation.
- Warranty must be registered within 7 days of installation.
- Warranty transfer is applicable only to the second owner.
- Third or subsequent ownership transfers will void the warranty.
The new owner must provide:
- Valid vehicle ownership transfer documents
- Proof of purchase from the previous owner
M-TEK reserves the right to accept or reject transfer requests after verification.

3.4 Warranty Claim Requirements
- Maintenance bill/receipt must be submitted.
- Images of installed PPF must be provided.
3.5 What is NOT Covered
- Accidents, misuse, or improper application
- Poor installation quality
- General wear and tear
- External impact damage
- Improper cleaning or maintenance
- Use of harsh chemicals or solvents
- Manual scratching or peeling
- Application on coated, repainted, or unsuitable surfaces
3.6 Natural Wear Disclaimer
The following are considered normal and are not covered:
- Slight yellowing over time
- Minor edge lifting
- Reduction in gloss or clarity due to environmental exposure
3.7 White Vehicle Disclaimer
- White cars may show faster visible yellowing.
- Edge discoloration may occur.
- Higher sensitivity to contamination.
Due to such conditions, warranty coverage differs for white cars.
3.8 Post-Installation Care Instructions
Initial Care (First 48–72 Hours)
- Do not wash the vehicle.
- Avoid water exposure.
- Allow adhesive to cure completely.
- Avoid long-run travel.
Regular Maintenance
- Clean using microfiber cloth.
- Use pH-neutral shampoo only.
- Remove contaminants immediately.
Avoid
- High-pressure water near edges
- Abrasive materials
- Solvent-based cleaners
- Excessive pressure while cleaning

3.9 Legal & Liability
- Warranty is limited to product replacement only.
- M-TEK is not liable for direct or indirect damages.
- M-TEK is not liable for loss due to misuse or improper care.
